A Beautiful Ode to Mothers

Here is a fantastic song. It is one I refer to often to be certain I am covering all the bases of motherhood!! How sad it would be if later in life one of the girls came home in tears, "but Mom, I thought we did live in a barn!" Or even worse, the boys thought they should jump off the cliff with their friends. Happy Mothers Day!

One more fun mothers day laugh. Just in case we thought today should be a serious day.

-"How are on earth can you see the t.v sitting so far back?"

-"Let me smell that shirt...don't worry it's good for another week."

-"Go ahead and keep that stray dog, honey. I'll be glad to feed and walk him every day."

-"Well, if Mike's mom says it's OK, that's good enough for me."

-"Why don't you hitch-hike? It would totally be cheaper."

-"The curfew is just a general time to shoot for. It's not like I'm running a convent around here."

-"I don't have a tissue with me ... just use your sleeve."

-"Don't bother wearing a jacket - the wind-chill is bound to improve."

-"Just leave all the lights on . . . it makes the house look more cheery."

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

Mom, We are so excited to wish you a Happy Mother's Day. It will be so fun to keep track of all the family from one place!! Thank you for being our Angel Mother & Perfect Grandma! There are so many great memories because of you: Rock-a-bye a minute, Grape Nuts are falling on my head, the angel bed, sliding down the stairs on a pillow, parties are always at the McKinnon's, singing or humming always, rainy days mean shopping in the city, bingo with fabulous prizes, lets just get a little something while we are out, and many more.
